When I switch the other midi signal off ...the midi graphics then still react to the 'audio' input.. I was under the impression they are all 'tuned in' separately...graphic one listens input 1 ......

Re: MIDI troubles
By now I would think so. ...The scope of what I would like to go further with is quite intense and the midi side only one aspect of it. Experimenting with it has not really achieved much of what i would like. First prize would be to have an actual conversation with someone who knows what you mean wi...

Re: MIDI troubles
It seems to be working all of a sudden and get it to see midi most of the time now after the previous steps. What would be great is some further detail regarding MIDI basics eg 16 channels and examples of what different settings effect would be practically.. as it the nomenclature is not always cons...

Re: midi
Hi Eric Here's the interesting part. With the new 1.51 version it can see the note and visual response is there (in this case it was axis rotation).. but no sound. It picked up the note with midi learn beautifully. Note 60, sees it as C3. The midi output from source program uses Key C, Instrument 15...

Re: midi
Thanks for the reply. Using just the note number was the conclusion I came to but still things don't quite add up. Will do new design and try and correlate the notes which are supposedly the same again and see if I did not just do something stupid somewhere. Will look at your references. regards

Re: Which programs work with vidcap?
Thanks for the reply. I use Magic for Neurofeedback therapy and sometimes incorporate videos that clients own in the therapy as something that is known to them to activate specific networks in the brain. And sometimes it is just their own footage recorded on dvd. Will try ManyCam.. thanks.
