Re: Oscilloscope fully in Magic

Thanks!

A square format also works really well for the Waveform module in Circle mode.

Many of my projectors are 4:3 aspect ratio, some are 16:9 or 16:10.
I sometimes stretch a circular scene horizontally to fit the wider display, giving an oval shape. This too also works well imho.

The length of the movie is being rounded down to give an exact number of frames. At 25fps each frame is 40ms in duration, so the length is always a multiple of 40ms.

Thanks for your explanation of the "Keep Selected in Graphics Memory" option Eric. With respect, I don't see how the scenario you describe is problematic: As I understand it The "Keep Selected in Memory" option is an attribute of a scene. A playlist entry for a particular scene p...

Playlist option: "Keep Selected in Graphics Memory"

To get smooth Playlist scene transitions I often need to use the Folder option to "Keep Selected in Graphics Memory". I may then wish to free the graphics memory of (just) those specific scenes. This would be greatly facilitated if "Keep Selected in Graphics Memory" was also avai...

Re: Time offset for audio/MIDI sources

As I recall, the " Start time " option on the file menu will enable you to offset the start time of an audio track as you describe. You need to create a file with a unique name (unlike any other in the project), but it doesn't need the time offset to be pre-applied. You can adjust the time...

Fortunately the GPU was an lowly GTX750 4GB card in an old spare PC - not a great loss. I wasn't expecting a Magic-specific benchmark, but was wondering if CUDA or similar benchmarks would correlate well with Magic performance. As most of my work is real time and audio- or video-responsive I like to...

I see the same issue with Magic Performer 2.31 but also with Magic Demo 2.31 (under Windows).
Although all 6 tracks can be selected, Magic only sees signals on tracks Flac 0 & Flac 1.

Audacity shows the FLAC file has signals on tracks 0,1,4 & 5.

I would guess that since the dots increase the more keys you have, that your alpha isn't completely clean... My first guess too. Attached is a module that can Add up to 6 inputs. Which blend are you choosing? A very simple ISF module could Add all the images and could easily accommodate (say) six inputs. Not being skilled at GLSL I can't spot errors and almost always need to use an automated conversion.
