Re: Video Capture module, adjusting cam resolution

Well, sounds good :D
Untill I really need this feature I have to work on the main idea. And this I can do with some video-files I record. Maybe in one or two weeks I can show you something that's really exciting :)

I'll post it, when it's done!

Video Capture module, adjusting cam resolution

Hi Eric! Actually I'm experimenting with my webcam, Logitech C615. It's a full HD cam that supports 16:9 size resolution. I adjusted it in the Logitech software where I also did a special colour setup. The colour setting didn't change in Magic, but the size resolution changed to 4:3. Is there a way ...

I'm still thinking about how this scenes are working. The last days I experimented a lot, but without a result. What are the basics? A kaleidoscoped image file?

Re: strg+f crashes my pc

I use v1.63 64 bit. The problem exists since my I upgrade to 10. My graphic card is a nvidea. I activated the re-init option for fullscreen, but it doesn't work really satisfying. I figured out that alt+tab seems to work well.

strg+f crashes my pc

For fullscreen of the magic window I use strg+f. To close it I use it again, but then it crashes my pc. Win 10 then just shows me the dialog that it will reboot now.

Re: Is there anyway to play sound from video?

There are a couple steps to make sure the video rewinds when you rewind the audio: 1) In the Playlist menu, make sure the following option is selected: "Synchronize Modules On Reselect". 2) Also in the Playlist menu, select "Show Auto-Advance Options", and then at the bottom of ...

Re: Is there anyway to play sound from video?

Hi Eric! I'm really very interested to synchronize a video clip in Magic as perfect as possible. The reason is that I experiment with the combination of character animation. And this characters should be able to dance or sing. Here's an example: https://youtu.be/dLxKZHNqROE The separation of the aud...

...funny clip for customers of T-Mobile

Especially in Germany T-Mobile and Telekom are well known for their often really bad service. I got some of this experience the last days, too.
As I said before maybe it's more a joke for Germans, but it's made with Magic ;)

1hour to finish

When I take a look on my harddisks I find gigabytes of projectfiles that will probably never be finished to a complete track. So I thought about a way that the next time I open a DAW at the end there will be something more than 1-3 loops of whatever and a guitar-lick. At least I created a game for m...

Re: "Freeze" function

Well, I'll try it of course. Thanks for this. But I wouldn't wonder about problems with synchronization, if the scene was triggered by a something like a kick before rendering it.

It would definitely work, if the playlist would work in beats, not in minutes and seconds.

I know it from lots of music sequencers to save CPU. To freeze a scene might be a solution for magic ,too. It's like bouncing a track with an undo option.

Thank you! Both answers really helped. Yesterday I played a little bit with the shaders, but it's not that easy for me to change colours for example. But it's the question, if that really matters.

Also the way with the little blender loop is something I'll figure out.

Can I play a clip backward?

Hey guys! When I load a video file I can loop it that it always start s again.

Is there a way to let it run backwards to the beginning?

And can I create shorter loops just of a few seconds for example by setting start-and endpoint in the clip?

Thanks for.your help!
