Looking to program a MIDI Note (piano key) to "flash" an img
I created a visualizer which will show lightning (.png images of a lightning bolts) based on where note are on a scale. I have each lightning bolt (image module) programmed as: Source : MIDI Feature : Note Velocity This "holds" the lightnight bolt image for as long as I'm holding the piano...

Re: Multiple scenes to multiple (separate) screens
It worked! Thanks again for your help. I'm currently using multiple very low-end laptops.
I intend to build a custom PC soon, which can run all my visualizers at once on multiple monitors I'm very excited

Re: Multiple scenes to multiple (separate) screens
Thank you very much Eric and Terry! That helps a lot.
Is this a new feature of v2.3? I was trying -mi on the Demo version on my secondary laptop... that's probably why it wasn't working.
I'll try it again on the full version of v2.3 (on my main PC) when I get home.

Re: Multiple scenes to multiple (separate) screens
Thanks for posting this. I searched the forum and found this thread... exactly what I'm looking for! I'm still a little confused, however. Could someone please clarify what a "-mi" flag is? "./Magic -mi" from a terminal Stupid question... what is a terminal? I just added "-m...

Re: Is there a way to lock-in full screen mode?
I've also tried that. Unfortunately, that doesn't work for me. The fullscreen mode always reverts to windowed when my TV is turned back on. The only solution that has worked (so far) is using an HDMI splitter with an old, always-on, monitor plugged into the 1st HDMI out, with my TV plugged into HDMI...

Is there a way to lock-in full screen mode?
I'm driving myself crazy trying to figure out how to keep Magic in full screen mode when I turn my screen on/off. Everytime I switch inputs on my display, or turn it back on; it defaults back to windowed mode. I've tried everything to keep it fullscreen. Nothing is working for me. I'm sure there's a...

Is there a lightning bolt module?
I'm looking to create an "instrument" visualizer where lighting bolts will strike specific notes as the music plays. (using multiple custom frequency modifiers).
I was wondering if there's any way to create lightning strikes in Magic? Like a quick Point-A to Point-B strike.

Can video capture module be activated by motion?
I'm looking to plug in a separate device for my music library via video screen capture. What I'm hoping to accomplish is that the device will activate with the motion from its remote, then automatically fade-out with inactivity after a specified amount of time. I successfully hooked up the capture d...

Re: Can I program a Polygon to filter out colors behind it?
Thank you guys! I love how quickly everyone chimed in to help. I managed to find another method to do this (before seeing your comments). I'm going to play around now with your other suggestions. I think "my way" may be too resource-intensive. https://i.imgur.com/zTEUykV.jpg Eric, I'm real...

Re: Can I program a Polygon to filter out colors behind it?
Almost. That looks more like a white polygon with some transparency to fade the colors/black; which may actually work. What I'm trying to achieve (if possible) is a polygon that filters into a monochrome affect. Preferably, the blacks wont be affected/faded at all, and colors would be a shade of whi...

Can I program a Polygon to filter out colors behind it?
I'm making a prism visualizer (like Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the moon; visualized). It's essentially all completed, but I need to find a way to have the portion of the 'rainbow' coming from inside the prism to be filtered black/white. The portion outside of the prism will remain colored, as they ar...
