Playlist scene transitions using "Photoshop" blending modes

Post by Terry Payman »

As I understand the present playlist scene transitions, the blending is always additive but with two alternatives for intensity ramp overlap selected by the N/A/C transition options.

I love the Photoshop blend modes in your tutorial.

It would be great to be able to choose one of these Photoshop blending modes as an alternative to additive blending for scene transitions,

Blend mode could be an extra (optional/showable) column in the playlist. I keep my scene names short so I have room for lots of tabs in the editor, so I think there would be room for the full name of the blend mode to be shown in the extra column.

My instinct is that the A/C ramping options would be even more significant.

Ok, thanks. Good suggestion. I don't think it would be too hard to implement. Actually I think the hardest part would be figuring out how to fit a new column in the Playlist as you mentioned. But being able to show/hide it might work.
